Recon 3s are engineered micro-fibres with a unique "Triangular" cross-section, used for secondary reinforcement of concrete. The usage coplements structural steel in enhancing concrete's resistance to shrikage cracking and improves mechanical properties such as flexural/split tensile and transverse strengths of concrete along with the desired improvement in abrasion and impact strengths.The dosage varies from 0.1% to 0.4% by volume (0.9 Kgs/cu.M-3.60 Kgs/cu.M). Recron 3s complies with ASTM C1116.
